We get recovery request from a user of DJI drone, here is the message we received:
I have a question. I have in total 10GB data which is corrupted. These concern MOV files from the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone, which disappeared as soon as I accidently formatted my SD card in my desktop. I recovered the MOV files from my SD card with a software, but now I’m unable to open them. With a few programs I tried to make them work, but only a green screen in the videos as a result. Do you have any idea whether you can recover this? Is it possible that I send you one file and if you recover it for me, I will order a 10GB recovery for my other files?
Why so many data recovery software fail to get the playable DJI video back? What I can tell you is that the video data are stored in pieces called fragment with a special chain on the SD, once video were deleted or formatted, the chain is lost, many of the software is not capable to get the chain to read the video fragment. As for this case, we instructed the user to send us all data we need, then we use the professional technical we develop to recover all the 10G MOV video file. All video are back and played well.
