Do you have a damaged 0 KB DAT file?
If you experienced power failure, accidentally interrupted, no response or device crash during recording with CANON camera, you may find a 0 KB DAT file instead of MOV or MP4 file on memory card. 0 KB means that the file does not have any data. We can directly repair the DAT file if is has size, but for 0 KB, we need to do more data recovery work.
Why the DAT file is 0 KB?
For CANON camera, you will get MOV or MP4 file if the device works well, you will get the 0 KB DAT file if something very bad happen during shooting.0 KB means the camera did not save any data in the file, it may recorded data on SD, but it just did not save data into a file.
How to restore the 0 KB DAT file?
The one and only way to restore the 0 KB DAT file is to recover data from SD card. For most of the data recovery tool, they cannot do that. How to do? In this case, I can recover video file from the SD card, to do so, you need to create the image file of your SD card, then send it to me. If you are interested, I will assist you to do that.
